Lower back pain is so common that nearly 85% of people in the U.S. are affected by it. Sometimes, it is not easy to work under such conditions. You should understand what causes low back pain as the numbers of the afflicted are not small.

According to a study published in Annals of Internal Medicine, 85 percent of people who visited their doctors are suffering from low back pain. The doctors cannot determine the cause of it. This is known as the mechanical or non specific lower back pain. The remaining percentage are caused by a specific disorder such as symptomatic disc herniation's, spinal infection, compression fractures, spinal stenosis, cancer, cauda equine syndrome and ankylosing spondylitis.
